Aniseh just spoke on NBC29 bright and early during the morning show live. Peter chatted with the Daily Progress yesterday. I spoke with UVa Cavalier Daily a couple of days ago. Go, everyone!

A fortuitous connection occurred in midst of this insanely caffeinated planning process for Love4Haiti. I received an email from Bonnie Gordon, UVA music faculty member. Bonnie offered to could coordinate the first graders at Burnley-Moran Elementary, with the help of their teacher Kristen Meyer to contribute art works to the silent art auction at the event.

Thrilled by the idea, so I tweeted it on @Love4HaitiCvill. The tweet intrigued Jim Hanchett of the Newsplex. The next thing I knew the camera crew was showing up at Burnley-Moran for a story. Peter showed up to hang out with the first grade artists and the news crew. So that was it, we were on the news yesterday.

Peter took some adorable pictures of the artists in action. Kristin will bring a few first graders representing their class to come to our event tomorrow. They will be talking and “selling” their art at the table.
